Ambulances and fire engines leave for 3 oblasts of Ukraine

Export permit notice for the ambulances and fire engines bound for Ukraine (issued by Mizushima Customs)

On September 2, 2025,
as part of NPO EURASIA’s humanitarian work,
4 vehicles in all (2 ambulances and 2 fire engines)
left Mizushima Port in Okayama Prefecture
for Khmelnytskyi, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv Oblasts in Ukraine.

This shipment of vehicles
is meant to strengthen local medical and firefighting services,
in the hope that it will help keep civilians safe and protect lives in wartime.

Official export permit for the fire engines

For the fire engines,
on August 22, 2025, the Mizushima Customs Branch officially issued
the “Export permit notice for fire engines bound for Ukraine.”

With the legal procedures completed,
the vehicles left Mizushima Port in Okayama Prefecture for Odesa, the gateway to southern Ukraine.

We have long provided humanitarian assistance across Ukraine, including medical equipment and vehicles.
We will keep working closely with the government and municipalities in Ukraine and with the relevant organizations in Japan, supporting the lives and livelihoods of people suffering from the war.
