International understanding lecture: learning about Ukraine’s history and present, and thinking about peace (in Japanese) (opens in a new tab)

Liliya Babiy, Vice Chair of NPO EURASIA, gave the lecture.
Through her talk and dialogue with the students, the session was a chance to think deeply
about Ukraine’s history, its current situation, and the question “What is peace?”

In the questions and discussion,
many students spoke earnestly about the realities of war that are hard to see in the news alone,
and about seeing peace not as something to take for granted,
but as something to think about for themselves and to protect.

We could clearly feel that the values of the younger generation are beginning to change.
It was a truly meaningful learning experience.
