How to donate

What a ¥10,000 donation can do for Ukraine

NPO EURASIA, based in Kurashiki, Okayama, delivers retired ambulances and fire engines to municipalities in Ukraine. Delivering one vehicle costs about ¥1.5 million in transport and procedures. A donation of ¥10,000 covers 1/150 of that.

150 people giving ¥10,000 each cover one vehicle’s transport

If 150 people each give ¥10,000, that covers the cost of transport and procedures for sending one ambulance or fire engine to Ukraine. The vehicles are provided by municipalities in Okayama Prefecture, and this figure does not include maintenance. In Ukraine, local municipalities use them for emergency medical and firefighting work. So far we have delivered 14 vehicles to 10 municipalities in Ukraine.

Medical supplies, too

Your donations pay for delivering ambulances and fire engines to Ukraine, and for medical supplies such as tourniquets. A tourniquet is a device that stops heavy bleeding from an arm or a leg. We have sent 1,385 so far. Read more in our report on delivering tourniquets.

Giving less than ¥10,000

We accept donations from ¥100, and you can choose a one-time or a monthly donation. Even ¥1,000 a month adds up to ¥10,000 in 10 months. We publish how donations are used and what we have achieved on our Transparency page.

Please note that we are not a certified NPO corporation, so donations are not tax-deductible.
