Personal information we collect We collect personal information in the following ways: - **Donations through Stripe**: your name, email address, and the amount, date and time of your donation. Card numbers are handled by the payment company Stripe and never reach us. - **Bank transfer**: the payer’s name and transfer details provided when donating. - **Contact form**: your name, email address, phone number and the content of your inquiry. - **Supporter baton relay**: the name (display name) you enter in the donation section of the home page and a distance based on the amount of your donation are published in the “Supporter baton relay” on the same page. It does not have to be your real name. - **Access analytics**: pages viewed, date and time of viewing, approximate region, type of device and browser, and similar information. We do not identify individuals from this information alone (see section 7). ## 2. Purposes of use of personal information We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes: - Sending confirmation emails and receipts to donors. - Handling and answering inquiries. - Sending important notices and activity reports (to donors). - Publishing names (display names) and distances in the “Supporter baton relay.” - Understanding how the website is used, and improving it. ## 3. Management of personal information We manage the personal information we collect appropriately and take the security measures necessary to prevent unauthorized access, loss, alteration and leakage. We have also appointed a person responsible for the handling of personal information and established a management system. ## 4. Provision to third parties We do not provide personal information to third parties except in the following cases: - Where the individual’s prior consent has been obtained. - Where judicial or administrative authorities require it under a legal obligation. - Provision of information to payment institutions, such as Stripe and those handling bank transfers (only to the extent necessary to process payments; these institutions have privacy policies different from ours). ## 5. Retention period for personal information Personal information we collect is kept for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use, or for the period required by law. After that period, it is appropriately disposed of or anonymized. ## 6.
